History:

In 1967, a term Gothic Rock was introduced by John Stickney. Gothic Rock is a style of rock music that emerged from the post-punk in the late 1970s. The origin of this kind of Music in the United Kingdom. The first post-punk bands have dark Music with gothic over tunes including Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, and The Cure. In 1977, F Club night introduced the gothic subculture in Leeds (West Yorkshire, North England). It leads to the formation of a new Gothic music band “The Sisters of Mercy”. The development of new Gothic Music bands continued, and a new Gothic rock genre is introduced.

In 1979, Joy Division described the Gothic and theatrical terms. Later, in Feb. 1980, introduced the new brand named as “Master of this Gothic Bloom”. In the late 1980s, Gothic Music became a coherent music subgenre. The fame of this led to the formation of a new movement to introduce Gothic Rock. Later in the next few years, various new Gothic Brands were launched. A new term of Batcaver was introduced in early 1983, which described the old -school goths.

Rather than England, many other countries also introduced the Gothic Music subculture. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, California developed a branch of American Punk Rock. Death Rock subgenre introduced the band and acted as Christian Death and 45 Grave.

After that, Manson also participates in a variety of minor roles. The theme of appearance and lyrics of Manson is like the Goths; therefore, many people believe that Manson adopts Gothic style. The name of Manson is the combination of the juxtaposing names of two opposing American cultural icons. Some of the albums released by the Manson includes Portrait of an American Family, Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals. In the mainstream media, Manson earned a controversial figure, and it influenced negative impacts on young people.
